It’s been more than 7 months since my last post when I told you that I’ll stop working on phpGameScan. In this time, I worked on another 3 projects:
- one open-source project – GameServerQuery – This library is based on GameQ v3 by Austinb, the same library behind phpGameTracker (not available anymore on Codecanyon marked) and phpGameScan (never released). More details about this library on Github, on Wiki section
- one browser game – no details yet. Still working on the core.
- GameFire – This script represents the sum of all my knowledges in game tracking domain. If you didn’t understand what’s this script, well, this is the child of phpGameTracker and phpGameScan written from zero.
I’ll not post more information about GameFire yet, as I did with phpGameScan, but all I can tell you is that I don’t know yet if I’ll publish it on Codecanyon or I’ll keep it and publish my own site.
I’ll publish more details next month and hopefully I’ll know what to do.
Until that moment, feel free to try my GameServerQuery library. I tried to make things easy to extend and rewrite (compared with the original library – GameQ). Currently, this library supports less games than GameQ, but I hope that I’ll be able to support all games as GameQ does.
If you find any issue with GameServerQuery feel free to do pull requests or to open new issue ticket on github page. I’ll try to start (re)working on that script again in the next period.
